Agricultural / Conservation Project

Our farm project is situated in the beautiful Goyt Valley, on a smallholding operated by our parent organisation Good News Family Care.

At the farm you can become involved with planning various areas of the work. Participant "ownership" is the key to it's success so clients are encouraged to get involved with planning aswell as participating in the various activities.

As a valued team member you'll have opportunities to contribute to the development of the farm.

Activites include: Poultry farming Dry stone walling Woodland management Maintaining fences Conservation Horticulture Livestock management and Equine care Woodwork Project

Feeding the hens

You will be able to join in training courses - some of which which can lead to certificates.
